We need to hear from performers, punters, promoters and partygoers who can testify to the club's use as a performance space. We want evidence of as many shows as possible over the years; cabaret, comedy, live music, literature, drag, burlesque, plus all the experimental stuff in between.

This consultation will provide the package of evidence for Friends of BGWMC to secure further protections on the building, and conserve BGWMC as a performance venue for the future.

Our priority right now is to document evidence from the past 10 years, but older proof will also be helpful. We would love a proper record we can submit to the Queer Archive at Bishopsgate Institute.
